Ultimus was started in 2006 by five people, with enormous experience in enterprise applications development and ERP implementations in larger international firms. The basic objective of Ultimus is to provide User-centered, low-cost products and solutions to the business sector. To achieve this objective, Ultimus is using its software engineering brilliance and expertise in building applications in such a fashion that reduces customization and implementation costs. Where we began our journey and what we are now?
The Indian Government's economic reforms started in the beginning of this century have created more business opportunities in all the sectors. Foreign Investments have started flooding into the country. Many of the MNCs have purchased majority stakes in Indian companies. Some of them have started their direct operations. Their supporting industries and ancillaries also started growing. Especially the sectors like infrastructure and Transport have witnessed tremendous growth in the recent past. Many of these companies stepped up their capacities and expanded their operations. This sudden business growth made them to move towards automation of their processes and operations for accuracy and effective control. Till this time the IT usage in Indian mid-size corporate is nominal. Though the country has large number of software houses which are serving international clients are not in the reach of these small and medium scale companies. They found difficulty in searching software companies which serve their IT needs. Then we identified the need for a software services company to serve the small and medium sector and established Ultimus.
We started our journey with small business, now we are serving MNCs, Prominent Industries and Business houses in India and overseas.
